Large 2-Day Antique Tool and Farm Tool Auction May 1 & 2, 2015 (beginning at 8:35AM both days) Humboldt Fairgrounds Building (Events Center) 311 6th Ave. North Humboldt, Iowa 50548
Starting Friday with the horse-drawn farm equipment, followed by the collection of 30 walking plows and cultivators; seed sorter; lineshaft system; disc sharpener; other large farm tools; numerous floor and box-type corn shellers; collection of husking or shucking pegs and gloves; barbed wire collection with several panels each with 26 to 32 differnt strands of wire, boxes of loose wire; extensive collection of wire stretchers and other fencing and wire tools; following by a 414-lot wrench collection. Aproximately 800 to 900 lots will be sold on Friday. We will resume with the balance of the Martin Raak Collection on Saturday Morning May 2, 2015 in the main room of the Events Building selling Martin's saw, plumb bob, level and hammer collections along with two saddles, guns, hand corn shellers, etc. At aproximately noon on Saturday we will move onto other carpenter tools and household collectibles from the late Mark Lynott's collection from Lincoln, Nebraska and 150 plus lots from a prominent St. Paul, Minnesota collection.
